These Shiraz grapes come from the slopes of the Simonsberg in Paarl which is the perfect growing region for Shiraz. It was basket pressed and did malolactic in barrel while spending a further 12 months in older barrels. It has plush red fruit, with oak in support – but not detracting from the primary Shiraz fruit flavours. With grippy tannins, it can be enjoyed with a saucy steak or spicy curry.
